Susie came into our rescue program on August 9, 2011. Susie came from the Stephens County Sheriff's Office. Susie along with 14 other horses were severly starved and neglected in Marlow, Oklahoma. Sadly, one of the horses seized by Stephens County died within 48 hours of the seizure at the Vet Clinic, due to the extreme neglect she had suffered. The remaining 14 horses are currently in our care and being rehabilitated. Susie is a Beautiful, Gray, Quarter Horse, Mare. She is estimated to be 7 years of age. She is super sweet and loves attention. Susie still needs to gain some weight, she is a body score of a 3, was infested with internal/external parasites. Susie should be coming available for adoption soon. We will update as she progresses. Please consider making a donation towards Susie's rehabilitiation.

Susie has been adopted to a wonderful family in Choctaw, Oklahoma. Susie is going to be extremely welll loved and spoiled rotten in her forever, loving home. Susie made an instant connection with her family! We are thrilled that this sweet girl is going to receive all the love and attention that she deserves.





Please call or email to schedule an appointment to visit the horses currently available in our rescue program. We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
