Sweetie came into our rescue program on May 30, 2014. Sweetie came into our rescue program as an owner surrender. Sweetie is a Beautiful, Chestnut, Arabian, Mare. Sweetie is estimated to be 11 years of age. She is a sweet girl and loves attention. Sweetie is halter broke and broke to lead. She is ready for a family to start her under saddle and give her a job. Sweetie has only been a pet her entire life so she tends to be pushy. She will make someone an excellent horse with the right amount of time and training. Sweetie has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Sweetie was picked for our 7th Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. She was chosen by Trainer Shannon Brines. Shannon will be working with Sweetie for the next 120 days, turning Sweetie into a dependable riding companion. Shannon will be going against 13 Trainers in our Trainer's Challenge. Competition is set for May 5th, 2018 at the Heart of Oklahoma, Shawnee Expo Center, Shawnee, Oklahoma. Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. Sweetie will be available for adoption throughout the competition on May 5th, 2018 through an all day silent auction. Sweetie is a sweet girl and loves attention. Sweetie has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Sweetie has also been freeze branded for her protection. If you are interested in adopting Sweetie, please submit an adoption application and get your pre-approved status, in order to adopt Sweetie or one of our other Rescued Horses competing on May 5th, 2018.

Update April 2018 Team Sweetie is coming along wonderfully. This is a great horse and certainly one you don't want to miss out on. Come see Shannon & Sweetie at our Spring Fling benefit trail ride on April 14th at Bell Cow Lake. Don't forget to submit your application to come out and adopt this sweet girl on May 5th, 2018 at Heart of Oklahoma Exp Center, Shawnee, Oklahoma. Available for Adoption on May 5th, 2018 to pre-approved adopters through a Silent Auction. All bids start at $800.00 on the day of the event only. The day of the event will be the only opportunity to adopt a horse with over $3000.00 of training alone, for the starting bid of $800.00. If the horses do not get adopted the day of the event, the adoption fee will be higher once brought back to our facility.

Sweetie has been adopted to a wonderful family in Belle Plain, Kansas. Sweetie is going to be extremely well cared for and spoiled rotten in her forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this sweet girl found the forever, loving family she deserves where she will be showered with love and attention.



Please call or email to schedule an appointment to visit the horses currently available in our rescue program. We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
