Ted came into our rescue program on June 30, 2021. Ted came into our rescue program from the Roger's County Sheriff's Office in an animal cruelty case. Ted is a Beautiful, Buckskin, Paint, Gelding. Ted is estimated to be 18 years of age upon arrival into our program. Ted is super sweet and loves attention. Ted has a large ulcerated mass on the distal portion of the penis and a paraphimosis due to the size of the mass. Inguinal lymph nodes palpated within normal limits. We have a surgical consultation with OSU to discuss the removal of the mass and a portion of the affected penis. We will update as he improves. Please consider making a donation towards Ted's Rehabilitation.
Update May 2023 Ted is seeking a forever, loving home to call his own. This handsome boy will make someone a wonderful additional to anyone's family. Ted is broke to ride! We would recommend some tune up time in a round pen or small enclosed area, as we don't know when he was routinely ridden last. Ted stands at 14.3 hands tall. Ted has more whoa than go currently but with a good refresher, he may start to pick up his pace. Ted received surgery at OSU shortly after his arrival to amputate his penis. They were all able to get all of the mass removed with amputation, and he should not pose any further threats or complications in the future. Ted is very a very healthy and happy boy. Ted stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Ted has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, dental and hoof maintenance. If you are interested in adopting this handsome boy, please submit an adoption application or call/text/email to schedule an appointment to come visit Ted.
Ted has been adopted to a wonderful family in Edmond, Oklahoma. Ted is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in his forever, loving home. We are thrilled that he has found his forever, family that he deserves, where he will be showered with love and attention.
