Triscuit came into our rescue program on June 13, 2010. Triscuit came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division. Triscuit is a Beautiful, Palomino/White, Appaloosa, Filly. She is estimated to be 1 years of age. Triscuit has a large Hernia that will need surgery to repair. She appears to have an old injury to her hip. She may have possibly dislocated/fractured her pelvis. She is a super sweet girl! She loves attention and will follow you anywhere. She is going to make someone a nice horse. We will update as she improves. Our Veterinarian will perform an evaluation on her soon and we will determine at that time, if she has a significant injury to her hip and if their will be options available to her for correction. We will update as she progresses. Please consider making a donation towards Triscuit's rehabilitation.
Update 10/30/2010 -- Triscuit is now seeking her forever, loving home. Triscuit has received her hernia surgery and is doing great. She does have a dislocated/fractured pelvis. She is pasture sound and may not ever be sound for riding. Triscuit is a sweet girl and will make someone an excellent companion horse. Triscuit has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, hernia surgery, and hoof maintenance. If you are interested in giving this sweet girl a forever, loving home, please submit an adoption application.
