Twitter came into our rescue program on April 06, 2013. Twitter came from the Seminole County Sheriff's Office along with 62 other horses and 3 Llama's as a severe cruelty case. Seminole County investigated an animal cruelty case consisting of over 120 animals, where several carcasses were found. Sadly, for many horses, help came too late. We were able to assist Seminole County and save 63 horses and 3 Llama's from neglect. Twitter is a Beautiful, Chestnut, Haflinger, Mare. Twitter is estimated to be 12 years of age. Twitter is a body score of a 3. She is infested with internal/external parasites, has rain rot and is mildly anemic. Twitter has pressure soars all over her body, it appears that she previously went down and had some difficulties getting back on her feet on her own. She is super sweet and very smart. She loves attention and always easy to approach and catch. She loads in a trailer and stands for the farrier. Twitter will be coming available for adoption soon. We will update as she progresses. Update June 2013 Twitter is doing great and now seeking her forever, loving home. Twitter is gaining weight and her pressure soars are healing nicely. Twitter is super sweet and loves attention. She is a bit of a space invader, seems she forgets she is a horse and not a dog. Twitter is broke to ride and will make someone an excellent horse. We would recommend some tune up time in a round pen or small enclosed area. She is very smart and willing to please with an extremely calm personality. Twitter has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. Twitter has been adopted to a wonderful family in Yukon, Oklahoma. Twitter is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in her forever, loving home. We are thrilled that Twitter will be part of a very special program, Savannah Station which is a Therapeutic Riding Facility. Twitter and Jitterbug will both be a special part of this program, providing many smiles to a lot of wonderful kids. We are thrilled that these special girls will receive all the time, attention and love they could possibly ever want from their extended forever, loving families.

We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
