Tyson came into our rescue program on June 8, 2012. Tyson came from Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division. Tyson is a Beautiful, Gray, Quarter Horse, Stud. He is a body score of a 4, infested with internal/external parasites. Tyson is estimated to be 5 years of age. Tyson is a super sweet and very smart. He currently has a leg injury, due to getting caught in a fence trying to fight with another stud prior to coming into rescue. He has been gelded, which will help him calm down around other horses. He stands for the farrier and loads in the trailer. He has such a sweet disposition and loves attention. We will update as he progresses. Update July 2012 Tyson is now seeking his forever, loving home. Tyson is super sweet and loves attention. He has calmed down tremendously since being gelded. He currently runs with about 20 other horses and is not the dominate horse. He gets along great with everyone. Tyson stands at 14.2 hands tall. Tyson is broke to ride. We would recommend some tune up time in a round pen or small enclosed area. He is a bit lazy, but very calm and laid back. He will make someone an excellent horse with the right amount of time and attention. Tyson has a very small hernia, we hope to have this repaired prior to being adopted. Tyson has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. Tyson has been adopted to a wonderful family in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Tyson will be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in their forever, loving home. Tyson seemed to have won over a very special young girl's heart. We are thrilled that Tyson will receive the time and attention he deserves by his forever, loving family.

We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
