Willard came into our rescue program on November 16, 2011. Willard came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division. Willard is a Beautiful, Sorrel, Quarter Horse, Gelding. Willard is estimated to be 9 years of age. Willard is a sweet boy, very smart, loads in a trailer, stands for the farrier and loves attention. This sweet boy has a bowed tendon and is currently on stall rest, as we hope wrapping his leg and securing him on stall rest will help his tendon heal. Willard is going to make someone a nice horse once he rehabilitates. Please consider making a donation towards Willard's Rehabilitation. We will update as he progresses.
Update June 2012 Willard is now seeking his forever, loving home. Willard has been gelded and finally turned out to pasture to play with the other horses. His tendon has healed, but he will be limited, due to the extreme nature that his tendon was bowed. We don't recommend riding, if so, it would need to be extremely light riding in the pasture for a small amount of time. Willard stands at 14.3 hands tall. He stands for the farrier and loads in the trailer. He is a sweet boy and loves attention and will make someone a wonderful companion horse. Willard has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, gelding, and hoof maintenance. If you are interested in giving this sweet boy the forever, loving home that he deserves, please submit an adoption application or call/email to schedule an appointment to come visit Willard.
Willard has been adopted to a wonderful family in Gore, Oklahoma. Willard is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in his forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this sweet boy will receive the love and attention he deserves from his forever, loving family.
