Wynter came into our rescue program on February 15, 2019. Wynter came into our rescue program from the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office along with 27 other horses as a cruelty case. Many of the horses were unhandled prior to the seizure. The court awarded that 14 horses could be returned to the owner. Wynter is a Beautiful, Bay, Thoroughbred, Filly. Wynter is estimated to be 2 months of age. Wynter is a sweet girl and loves attention. She is very thin with a body score of a 2. Infested with internal/external parasites and anemic. It has been a bit of a challenge getting the weight on this sweet girl and getting the parasites under control. She is slowly improving with each day. Update September 2020 Wynter is now seeking her forever, loving home. Wynter is a super sweet girl and will make someone an excellent horse. She is at the perfect age to enter a family and grow with. Wynter is now a little over a year old. She is very smart and has so much potential. Wynter is halter broke and broke to lead. She currently stands at 13.3 hands tall and still growing. Wynter has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance.
