Yahoo came into our rescue program on March 09, 2012. Yahoo came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division. Yahoo is a Beautiful, Sorrel, Quarter Horse, Gelding. Yahoo is estimated to be 2 ½ years old. Yahoo came to us as a yearling and shortly after his arrival, he injured his eye. Sadly, we was not able to repair the injury and he had to have his eye removed. Yahoo is extremely sweet! He is a love bug, very smart and eager to please. He has never let his missing eye bother him or miss a step. He has a great personality and will make someone an excellent horse with the right amount of time and training. Yahoo loads in a trailer and stands for the farrier. He is Halter Broke and Broke to lead. Yahoo has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating, and hoof maintenance. Yahoo has been freeze branded and micro chipped for his protection. Yahoo was picked for our 3rd Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. He was chosen by Youth Trainer Cassandra Ruhlen. Cassandra will be working with Yahoo for the next 100 days, turning Yahoo into a dependable riding companion. Cassandra will be going against 6 Youth Trainers in our Trainer's Challenge. We also have 12 Professional Adult Trainers competing in our Trainer's Challenge. Competition is set for April 26, 2014 at the Lazy E Arena, Guthrie, Oklahoma. Yahoo has been adopted to a wonderful family in Belle Plaine, Kansas. Yahoo is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in his forever, loving home. We are so thrilled that this sweet boy found the family he deserves, where he will receive an unlimited amount of love and care. Yahoo has been adopted by this Trainer Cassandra Ruhlen. These two are a matched pair! Yahoo and her Trainer Cassandra Ruhlen placed 1st in the Youth Division. So very proud of Yahoo!

We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
