Zil came into our rescue program on November 1, 2021. Zil came into our rescue program from the Bristow Livestock Auction. We attended the monthly horse sale, for educational purposes, as we don't typically attend horse auctions. This auction is strictly by the pound, unless you are riding the horse in the ring. Of course, while we are there, we see horses that are thin, etc., and felt compelled to bring some back to our program. Zil is a Beautiful, Gray, Quarter Horse, Mare. Zil is estimated to be 6 years of age. Zil is super sweet and loves attention. Zil was not halter broke upon arrival. Zil is now halter broke and broke to lead. Zil is a little thin and needs to gain a bit more weight before evaluating for adoption. Zil will make someone an excellent horse with the right amount of time and training. Zil was picked for our 11th Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. She was chosen by Trainer Sara Dickinson. Sara Dickinson will be working with Zil for the next 130 days, turning Zil into a dependable riding companion. Zil will be going against 10 Trainers in our Trainer's Challenge. We have a total of 11 trainers competing. Competition is set for May 14, 2022, at Blaze's Tribute Equine Rescue's Facility at 21701 East Britton Road, Harrah, Oklahoma. Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. Zil will be available for adoption throughout the competition on May 14th, 2022, through an all-day silent auction. Zil is a sweet girl and loves attention. Zil has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Zil has also been freeze branded for her protection. If you are interested in adopting Zil, please submit an adoption application and get your pre-approved status, in order to adopt Zil or one of our other Rescued Horses competing on May 14th, 2022.

Zil did a great job at this year's 11th Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainers Challenge. We are thrilled to announce that Trainer Sara Dickinson came in 1st place with Team Zil. Both did an amazing job, and we couldn't be more proud of this wonderful team.

Zil has been adopted to a wonderful family in Jones, Oklahoma. Zil is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in her forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this special girl found the forever, loving family she deserves where she will be showered with love and attention.
