Cherokee is an 8 year old, Paint, Mare. Cherokee was thin upon arrival. She is a sweet girl. Once the case is closed, we will update with more information as well as updated pictures.

Update 2/13/07 - Cherokee is a sweet girl and she looks great! She has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and feet maintenance. Due to our large rescue numbers right now, we don't have the ability to assess each horse to determine their riding back ground. We are very sorry for this! We just don't have enough man power to assess 60 plus horses. Training is available in the Spring and Summer months if needed. If you are interested in adopting Cherokee, please submit an application today. You must have an application on file, prior to scheduling a visit with Cherokee.
Cherokee was adopted to a wonderful family in Lexington, Oklahoma. Cherokee was adopted by a sweet 8 year old, who had just recently lost her beloved horse to old age. Cherokee is going to be extremely loved and spoiled rotten.
