Cookie came into our rescue program on October 26, 2008. Cookie is a wonderful 24 year old, Bay, Quarter Horse Gelding. Cookie is a sweetheart. He is a retired roping horse. He is broke to ride and would make someone an excellent beginner horse. Don't let his age fool you, he is very healthy and active. He still has a lot of spunk in his step and will make someone an excellent horse. Cookie has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, de-worming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. If you are interested in giving Cookie that forever, loving home that he deserves, please submit an application. We will provide a complimentary winter blanket for Cookie with Adoption. Blanket's are valued at $125.00.

Update 01-03-09 -- We took some time to ride Cookie. WOW, What a wonderful horse. He would make someone an excellent trail horse or starter horse. Extremely sweet, very laid back and rides like a dream. We had several kids ride him, with no problems. He is automatic! You could not find a better horse for your kids, or building confidence to get back in that saddle. He will do it all! Don't let his age fool you, he still has many years to give to someone that will love him.

Cookie has been adopted to a wonderful family in Piedmont, Oklahoma. Cookie is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten by a special girl! We are so happy for Cookie. He is an awesome horse and deserves that special family to call his own.
