Daly came into rescue program on October 21, 2005. Daly is estimated to be 18 years of age. He came from Sapulpa, Oklahoma with two other horses. Daly is in extremely poor condition. He has been weak and showing signs of colic. He has been started on small amounts of grain. Daly was standing eating in his stall when he suddenly fell to the ground. He scared us to death - he just sat there for a moment and then raised his head up to take another bite, but not coming to his feet. He did get back up and continued to slowly eat his grain. We placed a blanket on him to help with his body heat and keep his circulation moving. He appears to be doing well.

Daly has been adopted to his original owner along with Solomon and Patience. When I say original owner I do not mean the individual that starved and neglected them. Solomon, Patience and Daly have returned home with the gentlemen that really loves these guys and you could tell the horses knew they were going home. It was a happy day and one that I know was right. These guys are on a wonderful lush pasture and are being very well cared for. I will try to get some updated pictures of them soon.
