Dan came into our rescue program on March 18, 2005. We traveled to Alto, Texas to bring Dan here and provide him with the much needed rehabilitation. Dan is an older quarter horse gelding. We would estimate his age to be around 20 years of age. This poor boy has been through a lot and needs some Tender, Loving, Care. He is a sweetheart and supposed to be kid broke to ride. He will need to gain some much needed weight. He also appears to have an infection in his eye that we will have looked at by our vet. He will need to be dewormed, have his teeth floated and current coggins pulled. We decided to rescue Dan after we were contacted from the lady that purchased him after the previous owners who were neglecting him and they finally agreed to sell Dan to her. She wanted to make sure that he would be properly cared for and given the best home. We agreed to take Dan in and we are glad that we can have the opportunity to provide Dan with a new life. Dan is such a sweetheart and deserves to have the best.

Dan was adopted by a wonderful family in Claremore, Oklahoma. Dan is living with Sierra at Sierra Ranch and doing great. Dan will have the life of luxury. Dan will soon be fat and sassy like his roommate Sierra. This is a wonderful family that will see to it that Dan receives the best of care. Happy Ending!
