Flicka came into our rescue program on February 27, 2007. Flicka came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division. Flicka is a beautiful Appaloosa, she is estimated to be 4 years of age, stands about 13 - 14 hands tall. Flicka is a sweetheart, halter broke and broke to lead. She is very well mannered. She managed to cut her leg shortly after she arrived, she was an angel to doctor and the vet didn't even sedate her. The wound is superficial and she will make a full recovery . We do not know if she is broke to ride, we just have to many horses to evaluate for riding at this time. Flicka has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. This is a sweet girl and deserves a forever loving home to call her own. Update May 2007 -- Flicka is a sweet girl that is seeking her loving, forever home to call her own. She is very smart and a would make someone a really nice pony, or show pony. She just needs someone to train her their way. She is a beautiful girl.

Flicka has been adopted to a wonderful family in Bethany, Oklahoma. Flicka is going to be extremely loved and cared by her new family. She will be a companion to another pony and receive lots of attention. We are thrilled that she has found her forever, loving home.
