Judy came into our rescue program on August 24, 2009. Judy came from Garvin County and was seized along with 85 other horses on August 17, 2009. Garvin County had to humanely euthanize 3 of the horses due to the extreme nature of their neglect. Garvin County seized and housed the horses at the Wynnewood Round Up Club for approximately a week. Garvin County called and asked us for our assistance with the adoptions and rehabilitation of the 82 remaining head on August 21, 2009. Blaze's Equine Rescue went to the Wynnewood Round Up Club and held an adoption day for the horses on August 24, 2009. We were fortunate enough to place 77 head into loving, forever homes. Judy and the other 4 horses that we brought back to our facility are in extremely poor shape and need a lot of rehabilitation.
