Layne came into our rescue program on June 24, 2007. Layne came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division as a cruelty case. Layne was extremely neglected, but she is doing great today. She spent many months at the Animal Shelter before entering our rescue program. Layne is estimated to be 1 1/2 years of age, she is an adorable Sorrel Filly. Layne has a large hernia that we will schedule for surgery soon. She is a sweetheart, loves attention and always has a nice welcoming for you. Please consider making a donation towards Layne's Hernia Surgery. Layne will be available for adoption after her surgery and we will update with her adoption status at that time.

Update April 2008: Layne has received her Hernia Surgery and is doing great. Layne is ready for her forever, loving home. Layne is a sweet girl. She is coming a 3 year old and has a lot of love to give. Layne has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and hoof maintenance. Update 6-1-09 Layne is still seeking that loving, forever home to call her own. She has had basic ground work and been saddled. She needs someone to finish her training and train their way. She is a sweet horse and would make someone a great horse whether for pleasure or performance. Please consider giving this sweet girl a loving, forever home.

Update January 2017 Layne has returned to our rescue organization at no fault of her own and is currently seeking her forever, loving home. Layne is super smart and with the right amount of time and training she will make someone an excellent horse. Layne has only been a pet her entire life. She is now 10 years old. She is a beautiful and stout girl. Layne is halter broke and broke to lead. Layne loads in a trailer and stands for the farrier. If you are looking for a beautiful project horse, she is the one. Layne has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Update September 2020 Layne is still seeking her forever, loving home. Layne is a beautiful, well built girl that has a lot to offer. She is ready for a family to call her own and start her under saddle. Layne is now 14 years old and stands at 14.3 hands tall. She is a beautiful and stout girl. We are generally available BY APPOINTMENT Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and generally anytime Friday - Sunday BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
