Leroy came into our rescue program on July 23, 2007. Leroy came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division. Leroy was picked up along with 3 other horses, all of which, were starving to death. Leroy is a beautiful, Spotted Appaloosa Stud, estimated to be 7 years of age. Leroy is a sweet boy that will need a lot of time to recover. Once Leroy has gained a sufficient amount of weight, he will be gelded and placed for adoption. Please consider making a donation towards Leroy's Rehabilitation and Gelding. If you are interested in adopting Leroy, please submit an application. We will update with additional information as he rehabilitates.

Updated 10/01/07: Leroy has gained a lot of weight and is now ready for his loving, forever home. Leroy was gelded in August. He is doing great! He is a gentleman and didn't act like a Stud even when he was one. Leroy will make someone an excellent horse. He has an old injury to one of his hind legs, but shows no signs of lameness or discomfort. He is a sweet horse and loves attention. Leroy is up to date on vaccinations, deworming, hoof maintenance, and has a current negative coggins. Leroy has been adopted to a wonderful family in Norman, Oklahoma. Leroy is going to receive lots of love and attention, which he deserves so much. We are thrilled that Leroy has found his loving, forever home.
