Lucky Jewel came into our rescue program on April 25, 2008. Jewel came from Seminole County along with 5 other horses. Lucky Jewel is extremely emaciated and infested with parasites. Jewel weighs in at 596 pounds, at least 300 pounds under weight. Jewel is a beautiful, Paint Mare. She has a long road of recovery ahead of her. We will update as she progresses, as well as, when she becomes available for adoption. Please consider making a donation towards her Rehabilitation.
Lucky Jewel Update 7-7-08 -- Jewel is such a sweet girl and is gaining weight nicely. Jewel now weighs in at 738 pounds. She is just beautiful! Such a sweetheart! I honestly can not say enough about this sweet horse. She loves attention, so laid back, and just wants to please you. She is absolutely amazing and who ever adopts this special girl is going to have a wonderful horse. Jewel stands about 14 to 14.2 hands tall. She is just a doll! Jewel has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, hoof maintenance, and teeth floated. Jewel needs to gain about another 100 pounds or so, but she is doing wonderful and should reach that goal soon. If you are interested in adopting this sweet girl, please submit an application today.
Lucky Jewel has been adopted to a wonderful family in Bristow, Oklahoma. Jewel is going to be spoiled rotten and extremely well loved by one special little girl! We are so thrilled that Jewel has found her forever, loving home.
