Lucy came into our rescue program on July 31, 2007, along with 43 other horses that were severely neglected and starved from the Forest Park & Spencer, Oklahoma area. We were called by the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office, Forest Park Police Department and Spencer Police Department to assist in the seizure of the 44 horses. Lucy is a sweet, 15 year old, Chestnut, Arabian Mare. When Lucy arrived at the rescue, she was emaciated, infested with parasites, and had rain rott. She has been down a long road of recovery, but she has finally gained most of her weight back and doing great. Lucy is a sweet girl that seeks her loving, forever home to call her own. Lucy has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance.

Lucy has been adopted to a wonderful family in Blanchard, Oklahoma. Lucy has been adopted along with Ben. Both Lucy and Ben will be extremely loved and spoiled at their new forever, loving home.
