Maddie came into our rescue program on July 31, 2007, along with 43 other horses that were severely neglected and starved from the Forest Park & Spencer, Oklahoma area. We were called by the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office, Forest Park Police Department and Spencer Police Department to assist in the seizure of the 44 horses. Maddie is a beautiful Black & White Paint Mare. Maddie was extremely emaciated, covered in rain rott, infested with parasites, sick with upper respiratory infections that progressed to Strangles and her feet had not been properly trimmed in over a year. Despite Maddie's physical condition. She is a sweetheart, loves attention and obviously very forgiving to what she has been through.

Maddie has been adopted to a wonderful family in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Maddie and her new family instantly bonded and Maddie chose them. Maddie is being spoiled rotten and filled with love and attention. Maddie deserves the best and the best is what she received. We were thrilled that these two found each other.
