McSteamy is a 6 year old, Paint, Stud. Upon arrival McSteamy was thin, had Rain Rot, and severe Girth Burns. His feet were extremely long and curled. He has already received his first trimming. McSteamy is doing good. Once the case is closed, we will update with more information as well as updated pictures.

Update 2/13/07 -- McSteamy is a beautiful Sorrel/White Paint. He is the first to receive his gelding. He is recovering well. He is a sweet boy! McSteamy has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and feet trimming. Due to our large rescue numbers right now, we don't have the ability to assess each horse to determine their riding back ground. We are very sorry for this! We just don't have enough man power to assess 60 plus horses. Training is available in the Spring and Summer months if needed. If you are interested in adopting McSteamy, please submit an application today. You must have an application on file, prior to scheduling a visit with McSteamy.
Update March 2007: McSteamy was gelded on February 16, 2007. We had an opportunity over the weekend to saddle up and ride McSteamy. McSteamy is broke to ride. He hasn't been ridden in quite some time, so he needs someone to go slow and refresh his memory. He settled in for the ride the longer he was being ridden. He would make someone an excellent horse.
McSteamy was adopted to a wonderful family in Harrah, Oklahoma. McSteamy was adopted along with Kitty and they will both be very spoiled and extremely well loved. We are thrilled that they have found their forever, loving home.
