Porter came into our rescue program on February 4, 2009. Porter came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division as a cruelty case along with 6 other horses. Porter is a beautiful 15 year old, Bay, Quarter Horse, Gelding. Porter is extremely underweight, weighing in at 862 pounds, infested with parasites, has lice and his teeth are in horrible shape. Porter is a sweet guy, loads in the trailer like a pro, stands for the farrier and is an all around great horse. We will update as Porter progresses. Update 3-8-09 Porter is an awesome horse. He has been there and done that and ready to keep going. He will make someone an excellent horse, whether for a beginner rider or more advanced. He would make a wonderful trail/pleasure horse. Porter is seeking that forever, loving home to call his own. Porter has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating, and hoof maintenance.

Porter has been adopted to a wonderful family in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Porter is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten. We are so happy that he has found such a great home and family to spend the rest of his life with.
