Roman came into our rescue program on July 26, 2008. Roman came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division. Roman is estimated to be 9 years old. Roman is a Bay, Quarter Horse, Gelding. Roman is a sweet boy that has a long road of recovery ahead of him. Roman is extremely thin and infested with parasites. Roman had a large abscess inside his upper lip that our veterinarian removed. He is doing great. He also has an old injury on his hind leg, but has no signs of lameness. Once Roman has rehabilitated he will make someone an excellent horse. Update 10/8/08 -- Roman has rehabilitated and looking great. He is seeking his forever, loving home. Roman is broke to ride but a little stiffed back. He just needs to be rode and get him used to being under saddle again. He neck reins and listens well. He will make someone a great horse with a time and riding. Roman has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, hoof maintenance, and teeth floating. Roman is a sweet boy and is seeking that loving family of his own. Roman has been adopted to a wonderful family in Wayne, Oklahoma. Roman is going to a great family where he will be extremely well loved and cared for. Roman has found his forever, loving home. We couldn't be happier for him.
