Scarlet came into our rescue program on February 27, 2009. Scarlet came in with 19 other horses from an Animal Cruelty Case in Garvin County. 23 horses were found starved in rural Garvin County, unfortunately, 3 of them had to be euthanized due to the extreme nature of their neglect. Scarlet is a beautiful, Sorrel, Mare. Scarlet is estimated to be 2 years of age. Scarlet is a little aloof, but has great potential, she is very curious! She needs some much needed time, patience, love and lots of attention. She is in very good condition. Scarlet is seeking her loving, forever home to call her own. Scarlet has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. Scarlet has been adopted to a wonderful family in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Scarlet is going to extremely well loved and given the attention that she needs and deserves. We are so happy that this beautiful girl has finally found her forever, loving family.
