Smokey came into our rescue program on September 14, 2005. Smokey is estimated to be 30 years old. She was found in the middle of the night and no owner could be located. She is a very sweet girl. Of course, she needs to put a bit of weight on, but we don't believe that she will have any problem doing so. Smokey has most of her teeth, just missing two in the front top. She is a sweet veteran. Smokey will be available for adoption soon. She has a current negative coggins, she has received her West Nile, Eastern, Western, Tetanus, Rhino and Influenza shots. If you know of anyone looking for a veteran horse that has been there and done that, she is the one. Don't let the age scare you, she could live another 10 years. She has plenty of spunk and doesn't even look her age. If you are interested in Smokey or would like to make a donation towards her care, we would appreciate it greatly.

Smokey has been adopted by a wonderful family in Perry, Oklahoma. Smokey was adopted with Skipper and they will be able to live out the rest of their life, receiving lots of love and companionship from their new adoptive mom and a pony. We couldn't have asked for a better home for these guys to go to.
