Worf came into our rescue program on November 9, 2008. Worf came in with his mother Ruger and must be adopted together as they have been with each other for many years. Worf is a beautiful 15 year old, Gelding. He is much taller than his mother, Worf stands about 14.2 hands. He has a long beautiful mane and tail. He is broke to ride, but hasn't been ridden in about 2 years. He had a mild founder issue 2 years ago, but is fine and just needs to be limited on his grain. As you can tell he is quite plump and a easy keeper. Both would make great horses for a beginner family. Worf has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, de-worming, teeth floating, and hoof maintenance. Update 1-03-09 -- We finally had the opportunity to test Worf under saddle. He did great and settled into the ride pretty quickly. He would make someone an excellent riding horse. My youngest daughter also rode him bareback. He is a beautiful horse and would make someone an excellent riding horse. You couldn't ask for better starter horses for your family.

Worf has been adopted to a wonderful family in Navarre, Kansas. Worf and his mother Ruger are going to be extremely well loved by two 10 year old girls. They are going to be spoiled rotten and extremely well loved. We are thrilled that they have found their forever, loving home together.
