Amaretto came into our rescue program on July 4, 2010. Amaretto came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division along with 9 other Thoroughbred's that were seized, from the owner/trainer, for Animal Cruelty. These horses are severly neglected, most are emaciated, infested with internal and external parasites and lacked hoof care. These babies have a long road of recovery ahead of them. Amaretto is a Beautiful, Bay, Filly. She is estimated to be 2 years of age. Amaretto is extremely emaciated with a body score of a 1. She is super sweet and loves attention. This sweet girl will need some dental work and immediate hoof care. She has a small hernia that will need repaired once she puts on a suitable amount of weight. We will update as she progresses. Please call or email to schedule an appointment to visit the horses currently available in our rescue program. We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
