Boardwalk came into our rescue program on April 06, 2015. Boardwalk came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division along with 5 other horses. Boardwalk is a Beautiful, Sorrel, Quarter Horse, Gelding. Boardwalk is estimated to be 5 years of age. Boardwalk is emaciated, body score of a 2, infested with internal/external parasites. He stands for the farrier, and loads in a trailer. He is a super sweet boy and loves attention. Boardwalk has a long road of recovery ahead of him. We will update as Boardwalk improves. October 2015 Boardwalk is looking great and ready for his forever, loving home. Boardwalk is super sweet and loves attention. He is always easy to catch. He has great ground manners and would be fairly easy to get him going under saddle. He has so much potential and just needs a great family to teach him along the way and give him a job. Boardwalk loads in a trailer and stands for the farrier. Boardwalk has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. Boardwalk was picked for our 5th Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. He was chosen by Youth Trainer Adam Miller. Adam will be working with Boardwalk for the next 120 days, turning Boardwalk into a dependable riding companion. Adam will be going against 6 Trainers in our Youth Division Trainer's Challenge. We also have 10 Adult Trainers competing in our Trainer's Challenge. Competition is set for May 21, 2016 at the Lazy E Arena, Guthrie, Oklahoma. Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. Boardwalk will be available for adoption throughout the competition on May 21, 2016 through an all day silent auction. Boardwalk is a sweet boy and loves attention. Boardwalk has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Boardwalk has also been freeze branded for his protection. Update March 2016 Team Boardwalk is coming along wonderfully. This is a great horse and certainly one you don't want to miss out on. Come see Adam & Boardwalk at our Spring Fling benefit trail ride on April 30th at Prague Lake. Don't forget to submit your application to come out and adopt this sweet boy on May 21st, 2016 at The Lazy E Arena, in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Boardwalk has been adopted to a wonderful family in Jones, Oklahoma. Boardwalk is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in his forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this boy found the forever, loving family he deserves where he will receive the time, attention and daily love he longs for.

We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
