Chewy came into our rescue program on July 23, 2014. Chewy came into our rescue program from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division. Chewy is a Beautiful, Palomino, Quarter Horse, Gelding. Chewy is estimated to be 18 years of age. Chewy was a body score of a 3 when he entered OKC-AWD as a cruelty case. He was infested with internal/external parasites and covered in rain rott. He has really gained the weight and looks great. He still needs a bit more weight along his top line, but he is doing well. Chewy is broke to ride and has a lot of spunk. He is ready to go and will make someone an excellent horse with the right amount of tune up time. He is a sweet boy and loves attention. He stands for the farrier and loads in the trailer. Chewy has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
