Crissy came into our rescue program on August 25, 2010. Crissy came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division along with 4 other horses. Crissy is a beautiful Palomino, Quarter Horse, Mare. She is estimated to be 3 years of age. Crissy is underweight, estimated to be a body score of a 3. Her Liver Enzymes were elevated, due to a possible toxin. We are checking her blood work to make sure that everything is going back to normal ranges, since she has been removed from her former environment. Crissy's teeth are in horrible shape and will require some dental work very soon. She also has several sores around her mouth from a bit or wire bit. Crissy is super sweet and loves attention. This poor girl has been through alot in her short life spam. We will update as she progresses. Please consider making a donation towards Crissy's Rehabilitation.

Update 9/18/2010 -- Crissy is seeking her forever, loving family. Crissy is doing great and has gained a bit of weight. She is super sweet and will make someone an excellent horse. Crissy's bloodwork looks good and all is in normal ranges. She is completely healthy and ready for her forever, loving family. Crissy is broke to ride. As always, we recommend some tune up rides before hitting a trail, etc., as we don't know how long it has been since she was last ridden. Crissy stands for the Farrier and loads in a trailer. Crissy stands about 14.2 - 15 hands tall. Crissy has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. If you are interested in giving this sweet girl a forever, loving home, please submit an adoption application.

Crissy has been adopted by a wonderful family in Rattan, Oklahoma. Crissy is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten. She is being joined by another former rescue, Iris. Both are going to receive lots of love and attention. We are thrilled that these special girls have found their forever, loving family.
