Dancer came into our rescue program on July 19, 2006. Dancer was born here at our facility when his mother Lakoda came into our rescue program. Dancer has been hanging out and growing up for the last 5 years. He is a Beautiful, Bay, Quarter Horse, Gelding. Dancer is halter broke and broke to lead. He stands for the farrier and ready for his forever, loving family. Dancer has a lot of personality and enjoys playing in the pasture with the other horses. He is very sweet and loves attention. Dancer is ready for a job. Dancer will be featured in a Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge on August 20th, 2011. We believe that Dancer will be a wonderful horse with the right amount of time and training. We look forward to seeing this sweet, beautiful boy blossom into a wonderful riding partner. Dancer has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, dewoming, teeth floating, and hoof maintenance. Update May 14, 2011 Dancer was picked for our Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. He was chosen by Trainer Alicia Redding. Alicia will be working with Dancer for the next 100 days, turning Dancer into a dependable riding companion. Alicia will be going against 10 other Trainers in our Trainer's Challenge. Competition is set for August 20th, 2011 at the "Heart of Oklahoma" Shawnee Expo Center. For additional information regarding our Trainers Challenge, please visit our trainer's challenge website and follow your favorite Trainer/Rescue Horse on their journey to competition. Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. Dancer will be available for adoption immediately following the competition on August 20th, 2011. Dancer is a sweet boy and loves attention. Dancer has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. If you are interested in adopting Dancer, please submit an adoption application and get your pre-approved status, in order to adopt Dancer or one of our other Rescued Horses competing on August 20th.

Dancer will be Available for Adoption on August 20th, 2011 at the Shawnee Expo Center. All Horses entered in the competition will be offered for adoption immediately following the event for $800.00.

Update 9/10/11 Dancer is seeking his forever, loving home to call his own. Dancer is a sweet boy, needs a bit of work on his ground manners, but generally wants to please. Dancer is broke to ride either English or Western. He has a beautiful gait. Dancer would be best suited for an Intermediate to Experienced Rider. He does like to go! Dancer has been trail ridden, performed opening ceremony at a Rodeo carrying a flag and is ready to do whatever interests you. Dancer has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Dancer has been adopted to a wonderful family in Lawton, Oklahoma. Dancer has reunited with his trainer Alicia Redding and is now in his forever, loving home. We are thrilled that these two are back together. I know Dancer will be spoiled rotten and extremely well loved in his forever, loving home. This sweet boy deserves all the love and attention he can get and we know he will have more than enough of it.

We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
