Durango came into our rescue program on July 6, 2012. Durango came from Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division as a cruelty case along with 2 other horses. Durango is a Beautiful, Bay, Quarter Horse, Gelding. He is a body score of a 1, infested with internal/external parasites. Durango is estimated to be 5 years of age. Durango is a super sweet and very smart. He stands for the farrier and loads in the trailer. He has such a sweet disposition and loves attention. We will update as he progresses. Update October 2012 Durango is now seeking his forever, loving home. Durango has gained a lot of weight and looking great. Durango is a sweet boy and loves attention. Durango is broke to ride. We would recommend some tune up time in a round pen or small enclosed area, as it appears he hasn't been ridden in quite some time. He just needs some refresher lessons and he will be good to go. He will make someone an excellent horse with the right amount of time and love. Durango has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Durango has been adopted to a wonderful family in Piedmont, Oklahoma. Durango is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in his forever, loving home. He will have unlimited attention by a great family with some special girls. Durango already seems smitten! We are thrilled that this beautiful boy found the forever, loving family he deserves.

We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays.
