Ezekiel came into our rescue program on March 1, 2011. Ezekiel came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division as an animal cruelty case. Ezekiel is a Beautiful, Sorrel, Quarter Horse Stud. He is estimated to be 7 years of age. Ezekiel is a sweet boy, He loves attention, stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Ezekiel will make someone a great horse once he has fully rehabilitated. Ezekiel has received major dental work and is in the process of slowly gaining weight. Once he has gained enough weight, he will be gelded prior to adoption. We will update as he progresses. Please consider making a donation towards Ezekiel's rehabilitation.
Update May 2012 Ezekiel is now ready for his forever, loving home. Ezekiel is super sweet and loves attention. We nearly lost him during his rehabilitation due to extreme ulcers. His blood count and total protein dropped below normal and we were concerned he may need a blood transfusion. Thankfully, with Ulcer treatment and routine daily care, he was able to come back. Today is he happy and healthy. He looks wonderful, his blood count and total protein is normal and he shows no signs of complications. He may not handle stress extremely well, but he just wants to be loved and have a family of his own. Ezekiel has been gelded. He has adopted Olive Oyle as his step daughter, takes excellent care of her and they are always together. Ezekiel is broke to ride. We would recommend some tune up time in a round pen or small enclosed area. Ezekiel has a lot of potential and will make someone an excellent horse. Ezekiel stands at 14.3 hands tall. Ezekiel has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating, gelding and hoof maintenance. If you are interested in giving this sweet boy the forever, loving home that he deserves, please submit an adoption application or call/email to schedule an appointment to come visit Ezekiel.
Ezekiel has been adopted to a wonderful family in Coweta, Oklahoma. Ezekiel is joining a former rescued horse Zanna in his forever, loving home along with Olive Oyle. We are thrilled that these special horses are being spoiled rotten in their forever, loving home where they receive all the love and attention they could ask for.
