Faye came into our rescue program on July 31, 2024. Faye came into our rescue program from an Oklahoma Kill Pen. This sweet girl needed a safe place, and we agreed to help. Faye is a Beautiful, Bay, Quarter Horse, Mare. Faye is estimated to be 3 years of age, upon arrival into our program. Faye is emaciated and appears that she has suffered from a lot of trauma. She has marks all over her body, and her face seems to have a partial paralysis on one side, causing her face to droop. We are starting her on EPM medication, in hopes that the paralysis that she has suffered might be helped with the medication. Faye is a such a sweet girl and loves attention. She is halter broke and broke to lead. This poor girl did not deserve the hand she was dealt. Please consider donating towards Faye's rehabilitation.

Update Faye is looking great and doing so well. She is a complete love bug and will follow you around anywhere. The EPM medication helped her a lot with her facial paralysis, but her nose is still a bit on the crooked side, which is fine, it builds her character. We plan to have her fully evaluated by our veterinarian soon, to determine if she will be able to withstand training or should remain a pasture companion. We will update soon!
