Francis came into our rescue program on May 28, 2019. Francis came into our rescue program from the City of Choctaw and the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office along with 22 other horses and Donkeys as a cruelty case. Sadly, one died the night before the seizure, despite our best efforts to save her. She was reportedly down for more than 10 hours, before we got the call. Francis is a Beautiful, Black/White, Paint, Mare. Francis is estimated to be 10 years of age. Francis is a super sweet girl and loves attention. Francis is in fair body condition. Francis is missing her left eye, we assume from an injury, but was never officially removed. She was Infested with internal/external parasites and anemic. Francis is slowly gaining weight and strength. Francis still has a long road ahead of her. We will update as she improves. Please consider making a donation towards Francis' Rehabilitation.

Update December 2019 Francis is now seeking her forever, loving home. Francis is a love bug! She is super sweet, loves attention, easy to catch, halter broke and broke to lead. Francis stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. We do not believe Francis is broke to ride. She will make someone an excellent horse whether as a companion or starting with some training. Francis has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. Update September 2020 Francis is still seeking her forever, loving home. Francis is a sweetheart! She is a super sweet girl and loves attention. She is easy to catch, halter broke and broke to lead. Francis does not appear to be broke to ride. She stood to be tacked up and mounted but did not know what to do. She will probably be easy to get going under saddle with the right amount of time and training. Francis will make someone an excellent horse. Francis is now 11 years old and stands at 13.2 hands tall. Francis has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. Francis has been adopted to a wonderful family in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Francis is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in her forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this sweet girl found the forever, loving family she deserves where she will be showered with love and attention.

We are generally available BY APPOINTMENT Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and generally anytime Friday - Sunday BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
