Luna came into our rescue program on August 30, 2016. Luna & Sol came from the Seminole County Sheriff's Office. Luna is a Beautiful, Black, Quarter Horse, Mare. Luna has a beautiful Colt named Sol that is estimated to be 3 months of age and is a beautiful Sorrel with a flaxen mane and tail. Luna is estimated to be 4 years of age. Luna is emaciated, body score of a 2, infested with internal/external parasites and giving everything she has to her colt. Momma and Baby will have a long road of recovery ahead of them. Luna was picked for our 6th Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. She was chosen by Adult Trainer Christa Caho. Christa will be working with Luna for the next 132 days, turning Luna into a dependable riding companion. Luna will be going against 10 Adult Trainers in our Trainer's Challenge. We also have 5 Youth Trainers competing in our Trainer's Challenge. Competition is set for May 20, 2017 at the Heart of Oklahoma, Shawnee Expo Center, Shawnee, Oklahoma. Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. Luna will be available for adoption throughout the competition on May 20, 2017 through an all day silent auction. Luna is a sweet girl and loves attention. Luna has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Luna has also been freeze branded for her protection. If you are interested in adopting Luna, please submit an adoption application and get your pre-approved status, in order to adopt Luna or one of our other Rescued Horses competing on May 20, 2017.

Available for Adoption on May 20th, 2017 to pre-approved adopters through a Silent Auction. All bids start at $800.00 on the day of the event only. The day of the event will be the only opportunity to adopt a horse with over $3000.00 of training alone, for the starting bid of $800.00. If the horses do not get adopted the day of the event, the adoption fee will be higher once brought back to our facility.

We are generally available BY APPOINTMENT Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and generally anytime Friday - Sunday BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
