Monty

Monty came into our rescue program on August 23, 2011. Monty came from the Piedmont Police Department. Monty along with 10 other Belgian's and 1 mule were surrendered to the Piedmont Police Department, as the former owner was no longer able to provide the proper care they needed. Piedmont Police Department requested us to take the horses. These pictures were not taken the day the horses were removed. Once Blaze's was able to pick up the horses, they had received several days of a good nutritional diet, therefore, changing their body condition. Monty is a Beautiful, Chestnut, Belgian Draft, Gelding. Monty is estimated to be 6 years old. Monty is a body score of a 2 and needs to gain some weight. He is in need of dental work and hoof care. Monty is currently in foster care and will be available for adoption once he has received the medical care he needs. We will update as he progresses. Please consider making a donation towards Monty's rehabilitation.

Monty has been adopted to a wonderful family in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Monty was adopted along with Gatz and both are going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in their forever, loving home. We are thrilled that these two sweet guys have found such a wonderful family.
