Patrick came into our rescue program on April 04, 2016. Patrick came from the Blaine County Sheriff's Office along with 7 other horses and 26 Cows as a cruelty case. Sadly, help came to late for so many other cows and horses. These beautiful animals have been ignored for far to long. Patrick is a Beautiful, Palomino, Quarter Horse, Gelding. Patrick is estimated to be 14 years of age. Patrick is a body score of a 4, infested with internal parasites. Patrick is a sweet boy, but takes him a minute to warm up to attention. Once you have his attention he is super sweet and willing to please. This sweet boy just needs a bit more time and attention. We will continue to update as Patrick improves, please consider making a donation towards Patrick's Rehabilitation.

Update August 1st, 2016 Patrick has entered into training with Kayt LaDue-Laymon with Diamond L Horsemanship. We know this big guy will benefit greatly with some training with Kayt and better prepare him for adoption. We are thrilled that this good looking guy will be able to advance and get the solid foundation he needs. We will update as he continues to improve with his training. We hope Patrick will be in training for 30 days. This is a great opportunity to adopt a horse and be involved with the training process and learn the horse and take a lesson, so that both of you will be off to a great start. Patrick stands around 15 hands tall. Patrick is a beautiful boy and will make someone an excellent horse. Patrick has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, hoof maintenance and 30 days training with our 4th year's Trainer Challenge Winner Kayt LaDue Laymon. Update August 30th 2016 Patrick had some tuning up with Trainer Kayt LaDue-Laymon. Patrick has been trained previously in his life, just spent too much time off and not trusting people. Patrick received a couple of weeks tuning, but he also exhibited some lameness issues when worked. Due to Patrick's age, he has some mild ringbone and some arthritis that prevents him from being a trail horse. Patrick needs a family that would build his trust and confidence and reassure him that he has a new and improved life. He could do some light pasture riding and would benefit greatly from some form of maintenance pain reliever. He runs, bucks and plays in the pasture without any sign of lameness, he just can't handle any major riding. His ground manners has improved significantly and he seems to really want to trust and be a part of the family. Patrick has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, dental care, and hoof maintenance, along with 3 weeks of training/tuning up from Kayt LaDue-Laymon.
