Patriot came into our rescue program on October 17, 2013. Patriot came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division as a cruelty case. Patriot has spent the last 3 years at the Shelter while the case was ongoing. Patriot finally received his reprieve to head to rescue and find a forever, loving home. Patriot is a Beautiful, Bay/White, Paint, Stud. Patriot is estimated to be 9 years of age. Patriot was gelded on October 25, 2013. Patriot is super sweet and very smart. He can be difficult to catch from time to time. Once caught, he loves attention. He loads in a trailer and stands for the farrier. We will update with Patriot's adoption status, as he is evaluated and receives some time to adjust to being a gelding. Please consider making a donation towards Patriot's Rehabilitation.

Update November 2013 Patriot is now seeking his forever, loving home. Patriot has been gelded. He is learning how to be a gelding and be in a herd. Patriot is a sweet boy and will require a bit of patience as he learns to be a horse again. Patriot is broke to ride. We would recommend some tune up time in a round pen or small enclosed area. Patriot would benefit greatly with some ground work and tune up work under saddle. He is a handsome boy and with the right amount of time and attention he will make someone an excellent horse. Patriot stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Patriot has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, hoof maintenance and gelding. Patriot has been adopted to a wonderful family in Wellston, Oklahoma. Patriot is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in his forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this sweet boy found the forever, loving family he deserves, where he will receive an unlimited amount of love and attention.

We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
