Pixie came into our rescue program on October 8, 2010. Pixie came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division. Pixie is a beautiful, Sorrel/White, Paint, Mare. She is estimated to be 8 years of age. Pixie is underweight, estimated to be a body score of a 2. She is super sweet and loves attention. She is very well mannered and has a calm disposition. She will make someone an excellent horse once she puts on a significant amount of weight. We will update as she progresses. Please consider making a donation towards Pixie's Rehabilitation.
Update 11/22/2010 Pixie is now seeking her forever, loving home. Pixie is gaining weight nicely and still needs to put on some more, but she is doing good and ready to go to her forever, loving home. Pixie is a sweet girl and loves attention. She stands about 14.2 - 15 hands tall. She stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Pixie is broke to ride, we would encourage some tune up rides in a round pen or small enclosed area, as we don't know when she was ridden last. She would make someone an excellent horse. She would be suitable for a beginner rider, specially after a few tune up rides. She is very calm, moves out nicely and doesn't get in a hurry. Pixie has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. Pixie has been adopted to a wonderful family in Yukon, Oklahoma. Pixie has found her match with a special young lady. We are thrilled that this special girl has received such a forever, loving home where she will be spoiled rotten and extremely well loved.

We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays.
