Princess came into our rescue program on August 23, 2011. Princess came from the Piedmont Police Department. Princess along with 10 other Belgian's and 1 mule were surrendered to the Piedmont Police Department, as the former owner was no longer able to provide the proper care they needed. Piedmont Police Department requested us to take the horses. These pictures were not taken the day the horses were removed. Once Blaze's was able to pick up the horses, they had received several days of a good nutritional diet, therefore, changing their body condition. Princess is a Beautiful, Chestnut, Belgian Draft, Mare. Princess is estimated to be 7 years old. Princess is a body score of a 3. She is in need of dental work and hoof care. Princess is currently in foster care and will be available for adoption once she has received the medical care she needs. We will update as she progresses. Update 10/15/2011 Princess is now seeking her forever, loving home. Princess is super sweet and loves attention. We are not sure if she broke to drive or ride, but she is extremely smart and very sweet, so I am sure that it will not take much to get her started. Princess has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Princess has been adopted to a wonderful family in Gentry, Arkansas. Princess was adopted along with Queenie and both are going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in their forever, loving home. We are so happy for these sweet girls, they will receive more love and attention than they could have asked for.
