Rhylee

Rhylee came into our rescue program on September 23, 2014. Rhylee came into our rescue program from the Seminole County Sheriff's Office. Rhylee along with her foal Shy and two other horse came to us as a cruelty case. We saved 4 horses, 5 Turkeys, 1 Duck, and 1 Pot Belly Pig from deplorable living conditions. However, we was too late to save the 5th horse. Seminole County called a Veterinarian to the scene and sadly had to euthanize one horse that was down upon their arrival. Rhylee is a Beautiful, Bay/White, Paint, Mare. Rhylee is estimated to be 6 years of age. Momma and baby both are a body score of a 2 and infested with parasites. Momma and baby are super sweet girls and love attention. These sweet babies have a long road of recovery ahead of them. We will update on there progress, as they both gain some much needed weight. Please consider making a donation towards Rhylee & Shy's Rehabilitation.

Update January 2016 Rhylee has returned to our rescue program at no fault of her own. Rhylee is a sweet girl but she tends to be a bit aloof. She wants to trust and become your friend/companion but she just hasn't reached that point yet. I believe with the right person and the right training, she will blossom and make someone a wonderful horse. She just needs someone to invest in her and help her along the way. Rhylee is a beautiful girl. She stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Rhylee is now 8 years old. She is halter broke and broke to lead, she now just needs training under saddle. She is a smart girl and can go in any direction. Rhylee has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and hoof maintenance. If you are interested in giving this beautiful girl a wonderful, forever, home, please submit an application or call/email to schedule an appointment to come visit Rhylee.

Rhylee was picked for our 6th Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. She was chosen by Adult Trainer Martie Cannaday. Martie will be working with Rhylee for the next 132 days, turning Rhylee into a dependable riding companion. Rhylee will be going against 10 Adult Trainers in our Trainer's Challenge. We also have 5 Youth Trainers competing in our Trainer's Challenge. Competition is set for May 20, 2017 at the Heart of Oklahoma, Shawnee Expo Center, Shawnee, Oklahoma.
