Skippy came into our rescue program on November 28, 2016. Skippy came from the Logan County Sheriff's Office as a cruelty case along with 4 other horses. Sadly, when we arrived on the scene one horse was down, emaciated and had been struggling for quite some time. Nicholas/Nigel only weighed 528 pounds, which was half of his body weight. He was extremely neglected and went without far to long. We was able to move that horse off the property, but sadly lost him early the next morning. We are thankful that the others were removed before they suffered any long term affects and lost as much weight as the beautiful boy, Nicholas/Nigel that we lost. Skippy is a Beautiful, Palomino, Quarter Horse, Gelding. Skippy is estimated to be 20 years of age. Skippy is emaciated, body score of a 2, infested with internal parasites. Skippy is a super sweet boy and loves attention. Skippy loads in a trailer and stands for the farrier. We will update as Skippy continues to improve. Please consider making a donation towards Skippy's Rehabilitation.

Please call or email to schedule an appointment to visit the horses currently available in our rescue program. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
