ThymeThyme

Thyme came into our rescue program on April 06, 2013. Thyme came from the Seminole County Sheriff's Office along with 62 other horses and 3 Llama's as a severe cruelty case. Seminole County investigated an animal cruelty case consisting of over 120 animals, where several carcasses were found. Sadly, for many horses, help came too late. We were able to assist Seminole County and save 63 horses and 3 Llama's from neglect. Thyme is a Beautiful, Black/White, Paint, Mare. Thyme is estimated to be 10 years of age. Thyme is a body score of a 3. She is infested with internal/external parasites, has rain rot and is mildly anemic. Thyme foaled a Beautiful, Gray, Filly on May 3, 2013. Momma and Baby Tinsel are both doing great. Baby Tinsel is full of life and personality. You can see how much Thyme has improved in just 30 days. Even with a little bit of improvement daily, she still gives all she has to raise her beautiful baby. All of the horses are doing great and improving daily. Many have a long road of recovery ahead of them, while many others will be coming available for adoption soon. Thyme is super sweet and very smart. She loves attention! She loads in a trailer and stands for the farrier. Thyme & Tinsel will be coming available for adoption soon. We will update as they progress. Please consider making a donation towards Thyme & Tinsel's Rehabilitation.

Update August 2013 Thyme and Tinsel are now seeking their forever, loving home to call their own. These sweet girls are super sweet and will make someone an excellent additional to their family. Thyme is slowly gaining weight, but continues to give all of herself to her baby Tinsel. They would both thrive on a pasture environment with daily love and attention. Thyme is broke to ride. We would recommend some tune up time in a round pen or small enclosed area. She is a sweet girl, very calm and willing to please. She stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. She is very calm and gentle. With the right amount of time and attention she will make someone an excellent horse. Thyme has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. If you are interested in giving these sweet girls the forever, loving home they deserve, please submit an adoption application or call/email to schedule an appointment to come visit Thyme and Tinsel.

Thyme & Tinsel have been adopted to a wonderful family in Claremore, Oklahoma. Thyme and Tinsel are going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in their forever, loving home. We are thrilled that these sweet girls will receive the time and attention they deserve with their forever, loving family.
