Topaz

Topaz came into our rescue program on February 13, 2012. Topaz came from Logan County Sheriff's Office along with 15 other horses as an animal cruelty case. 16 Horses were seized from a property holding nearly 105 horses. The 16 seized were in critical condition all a body score of a 1. The remaining horses are now being cared for by the owner in a court order and are closely being monitored. Topaz is a Beautiful, Dun, Quarter Horse, Mare. She is a body score of a 1, infested with internal parasites, needs dental work and feet trimmed. It doesn't appear that she has received the basic medical care in quite some time. Topaz is estimated to be 11 years of age. Topaz is super sweet and loves attention, she will make someone an excellent horse. We will update as she progresses. Please consider making a donation towards Topaz's rehabilitation.

Topaz has been adopted by a wonderful family in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Topaz foaled a beautiful colt and both of them along with a couple of her herd mates have been adopted by their foster family. The foster family has been caring for Topaz and many others since the day of their seizure. They have provided these sweet horses excellent care and they have now adopted a few of their babies. We are thrilled that Topaz and her friends have found the forever, loving home that they deserve.
