Yahoo came into our rescue program on March 09, 2012. Yahoo came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division. Yahoo is a Beautiful, Sorrel, Quarter Horse, Gelding. Yahoo is estimated to be 2 ½ years old. Yahoo came to us as a yearling and shortly after his arrival, he injured his eye. Sadly, we were not able to repair the injury, and he had to have his eye removed. Yahoo is extremely sweet! He is a love bug, very smart and eager to please. He has never let his missing eye bother him or miss a step. He has a great personality and will make someone an excellent horse with the right amount of time and training. Yahoo loads in a trailer and stands for the farrier. He is Halter Broke and Broke to lead. Yahoo has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating, and hoof maintenance. Yahoo has been freeze branded and micro chipped for his protection. Yahoo was picked for our 3rd Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. He was chosen by Youth Trainer Cassandra Ruhlen. Cassandra will be working with Yahoo for the next 100 days, turning Yahoo into a dependable riding companion. Cassandra will be going against 6 Youth Trainers in our Trainer's Challenge. We also have 12 Professional Adult Trainers competing in our Trainer's Challenge. Competition is set for April 26, 2014, at the Lazy E Arena, Guthrie, Oklahoma. Yahoo has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Yahoo has also been freeze branded and micro chipped for his protection. Update April 2025 Yahoo has sadly returned to our program due to no fault of his own on June 30, 2024. Yahoo is a stout, handsome boy that is seeking his forever, loving home. Yahoo is super sweet and loves attention. Yahoo is now 15 years old Yahoo is broke to ride and will make someone an excellent addition to their family. He will require a good saddle fit but can be rode English or Western. He does prefer an English saddle. Yahoo loads in a trailer and stands for the farrier. Yahoo has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating, and hoof maintenance.
