Carhartt came into our rescue program on January 3, 2010. Carhartt came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division. Carhartt is a Beautiful, Bay, Quarter Horse, Stud. He is still very thin, but gaining weight nicely. As soon as Carhartt has gained the required weight, he will be gelded. Carhartt is estimated to be 6 years old. He is a sweet boy, very well mannered, loads in a trailer. He is going to make someone an excellent horse. We will update as he progresses with his adoption status. Carhartt -- Update 4/20/2010 Carhartt is seeking his forever, loving home. Carhartt has been gelded and has been acquainted with joining a herd. He is doing well and getting along with the other horses. Carhartt is very sweet and loves attention. Carhartt will accept a saddle, but I don't believe that he was ever formally trained to ride. He is ready to be trained and given a job, whether as a pleasure horse or performance horse. Carhartt has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance.
