Comanche   Comanche

Comanche came into our rescue program on January 25, 2007. Comanche was an Animal Cruelty case that the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division had been working for the last 8 months. Comanche came with 7 other horses that were all previously starved. Comanche is a beautiful Bay Gelding. Today, they look great and are ready for a new loving forever home to call their own. Unfortunately, after all the snow and ice melting most of these guys look pretty dirty. Try to look past the mud and see what beautiful creatures these horses are. Due to our large rescue numbers right now, we don't have the ability to access each horse to determine their riding back ground. We are very sorry for this! We just don't have enough man power to access 60 plus horses. Each horse adopted through our program will be completely up to date on vaccinations, deworming, have a current negative coggins, and their feet trimmed. We will be more than happy to work with our adopters with training in the Spring and Summer months, if needed, at half cost. In the meantime, We need to find homes for many of these wonderful horses, so that they can be individually worked with by their new family. If you are interested in giving Comanche a wonderful, loving, forever home to call his own, please submit an application today.

Update 2/13/07 - Comanche is estimated to be 6 years old. He has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, and deworming. Comanche is a sweetheart, he is halter broke and broke to lead. He stands about 15.2 hands tall.

Comanche has been adopted to a wonderful family in Coweta, Oklahoma. Comanche has been adopted by one of our former adopters and now lives with Snoopy. Comanche has found a wonderful, loving home where he will be spoiled rotten and very well cared for.
