Goliath, April 2008

Goliath came into our rescue program on February 5, 2008. Goliath came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division along with Prince. Goliath is a Tennessee Walker Cross. He is a big boy and the size of his head speaks volumes. He is a sweetheart. You can tell he is one of those horses that has been their and done that. He is a sweetheart and loves attention. We will update with additional information as he rehabilitates from his mal-nutrition. Please consider donating towards Goliath's care.

Update 4-14-08 Goliath is doing great and has been gaining weight wonderfully. Goliath is ready for that loving, forever home that he deserves. Goliath is broke to ride and will make someone an excellent horse. Goliath is estimated to be 18 - 20 years old. He is a true sweetheart, wonderful disposition and stands perfectly for his feet to be trimmed or whatever you are doing with him. Goliath has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, hoof maintenance and teeth floating. He is such a gentle giant. If you are interested in adopting Goliath, please submit an application.

Goliath has been adopted to a wonderful family in Skiatook, Oklahoma. Goliath is going to be very well loved and cared for at his new forever, loving home. We are so happy that Goliath has found his lasting family. His new family has renamed him Gem, because he is a Gem and he arrived in their life as a treasure. It is so rewarding to watch these families connect to a rescued horse.
